Job Responsibilities

  • Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management.
  • Oversees building and facilities maintenance.
  • Manages facilities planning and space allocation.
  • Manages construction projects. 
  • Monitors and manages facilities' security systems. 
  • Manages employee access cards and performs regular audits.
  • Manages, negotiates, and reviews service contracts and office leases.
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly.
  • Ensures that the facility is clean and maintained according to company policy and procedures.
  • Manages front desk team and responsibilities.
  • Oversees and supervises the quality of work for other employees to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections.
  • Checks completed work by vendors and contractors.
  • Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications.
  • Communicates workplace safety precautions to employees.
  • Acting member of the company task force that creates company policies and procedures
  • Manages the company travel program and approves/rejects travel based on company policy.
  • Plans internal events (summer party, holiday party, monthly socials, and all hands party at sales kick-off meeting).

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent professional level experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions
  • Knowledge of OSHA and other environmental regulations
  • Must be a well organized, detail and customer (internal and external) oriented self-starter
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across internal and external teams
  • Multitasking and ability to work independently
