SUMMARY: This position will be primarily responsible for producer compensation calculation and Quarterly referral calculation.

GENERAL INFORMATION

    • This position is an hourly, non-exempt and full-time position.  
    • This position may be remote (Pacific Time Zone preferred) with the option to work from any of Newfront’s office locations. #LI-Remote 
    • This position will report to: Finance Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

      • Calculate monthly Producer Compensation
      • Calculate Quarterly Referral Commission
      • Maintain and verify Shared account/Account File Transfer data
      • Ensures commission data accuracy in Vena
      • Communicate with producers and respond to ad hoc requests for data and analyses as needed
      • Assist in development and maintenance of producer compensation reporting tool
      • Calculate and track client commission rebate
      • Assist with the month-end close process, including accruals and reconciliation of producer compensation payable
      • Other duties and tasks as assigned.

    • Ability to multi-task efficiently and to be flexible with ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Must work well with others in a fast-paced, customer service oriented environment and be responsive to co-workers and colleagues.  Must also work independently, with minimal supervision and have the ability to take initiative and create solutions.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as use of the Internet.  Ability to learn and implement other programs quickly and efficiently. 
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Active participation as a Newfront team member, suggesting improvements in processes and procedures and ways to make the organization better.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • 3+ year of accounting experience, insurance brokerage preferred.
